Brides to be were reportedly showing great interest in Botox and Breast Implants at Winnipeg's Wonderful Wedding Show. Plastic surgeon Dr. Manfred Ziesmann, who exhibited at the show reported great interest by brides who wanted to look their best for their big day.
"I see a lot of people who have concerns when they're getting married about what they're going to look like," he said.

In addition to breast implants and botox, which helps remove facial wrinkles, brides are opting for non-surgical procedures such as laser skin treatment and tightening creams to help smooth out bumps and wrinkles.

The increase in demand for pre-nuptial cosmetic surgery is driven by two factors: the higher age at which women first get married, and the number of women who remarry after a first, failed marriage. Men and women in the United States marry for the first time an average of five years later than people did in the 1950s. So women marrying for the first time will probably need a little external assistance to look as picture perfect as their mothers did when they married. For women marrying a second time, while their expectations may be more realistic second time around, there will still be pressure to look their best, and they may be tempted to have a little treatment or surgery to correct what they perceive to be a flaw.

However, surgeons would advise that brides-to-be should reconsider their motivation for plastic surgery such as breast implants, if they merely want to appear perfect on one day of their lives. Plastic surgery is a major procedure and has permanent effects, and should not be undertaken in order to modify one's appearance for a particular day. If you want to look your best in your wedding photographs, the advice from the staff at www.lipo.com is: Find a wedding photographer who knows how to use Photoshop, skip the surgery and spend the money you'll save on a great honeymoon!
