Brits want their partners to undergo surgery - survey PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 23 April 2007
A survey conducted by UK consumer group Which? indicates that 4 per cent of adults would like their partners to undergo surgery to improve their appearance.
The survey found that of those men who would like their partner to undergo plastic surgery, most men would like the women to undergo breast augmentation procedures, whereas most women themselves would opt for tummy tucks.

Of the women who would like their partner to undergo surgery, most would like their men to have a tummy tuck, whereas most of these men would actually choose a facelift.

Apart from those who would like their partner to undergo plastic surgery, 1 in 10 of the survey sample said that they would consider plastic surgery for themselves.

Surprisingly for such an important procedure, less than a quarter of those who'd had or were contemplating surgery felt that they were very well informed.

Britons spent £360 million ($720 million) on cosmetic treatments in 2005 - a 242 per cent increase since 2000.
