Also to be investigated is Dr. Eli Judah, following the report of a coroner into the death of a Toronto woman who died three years ago following abdominal liposuction and an abdominoplasty carried out by Dr. Judah. The third doctor who is the subject of the court application is Dr. Padma Jain, who is accused of failing to comply with the Regulated Health Professions Act. The college body alleges in the court application that Dr. Jain refused to allow an investigator, "a duly qualified medical practitioner" into her practice to observe surgical procedures. At the time of writing, none of the allegations have been proven in court. |
