Steven Samuel Traikovich, DO, FAOCO, FAACS
Practice Information Dr. Steven S. Traikovich graduated cum laude from Ohio State University with a B.S. in Human Nutrition. He then received his medical degree from Ohio University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Traikovich completed extensive postgraduate training, including internships, residency, and fellowships. During this time he also completed the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Advanced Training Fellowship and received the John Orlando Roe Award for Best Clinical Research in Cosmetic Surgery of North America in 1998. Dr. Traikovich has published, produced instructional videotapes, and lectured extensively throughout the country in the fields of cosmetic, facial plastic reconstructive, and head and neck surgery. He is a member and participating consultant for the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, among other organizations. He acts as associate professor for Midwestern University – Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Traikovich is also an oral board examiner and national instructor for residency training programs in cosmetic surgery throughout the United States. The Traikovich Cosmetic Surgery Center staff consists of highly trained professionals with advanced training in ambulatory care and aesthetic surgery. Our staff and physicians attend scientific meetings throughout the U.S. on a regular basis in order to be knowledgeable about the latest techniques and medical advances. The facility is state of the art with a complete medical clinic, surgical suite, recovery room, consultation area, and Medispa Skin Enhancement. Many advances in surgery and anesthetic techniques in recent years have dramatically decreased the risk, accelerated the recovery time, and decreased the costs of cosmetic surgery. Today, cosmetic surgery can safely be done on an outpatient basis with the patient returning home after surgery or staying the first night in our designated nearby hotel suites. Following your release, our staff will continue to monitor your progress and answer questions you might have regarding your convalescence. Our staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
