Dr. Kennedy, a native of Alexander City, Alabama is a graduate of Auburn University and The University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency at The University of Alabama in Birmingham and his Plastic Surgery residency at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga Unit. After completing his Plastic Surgery residency, he completed a residency in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at The University of Alabama in Birmingham. He joined The Plastic Surgery Group, P.C. in July 1997. He is a candidate member of The American College of Surgeons and American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is also eligible to receive the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Kennedy is an active member in the Departments of Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga Unit and is a member of several local and national medical professional societies.
