Dr. Lesley Wong joined The Plastic Surgery Group, P.C. in September, 2000. She is Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine- Chattanooga Unit and will serve as Medical Director of the Burn Unit and Wound Care Center at Erlanger Health Systems. Dr. Wong is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Surgery and has Added Qualifications in Critical Care. Dr. Wong comes to Chattanooga from Baltimore, Maryland, where she served in a dual role as Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Wound Healing Center and Director of Burn Critical Care at the Baltimore Regional Burn Center. She was an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in Plastic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University - University of Maryland Combined Program and a residency in General Surgery at New York University Medical Center in addition to two fellowships from Johns Hopkins during the 1980s as a Burn Fellow and Research Fellow.
