Dr. Jabs was selected by the Consumer Research Council of America as one of Americas Top Surgeons. Dr. Jabs has been elected President of the National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons by his peers where he has previously served as Secretary and Vice-President. At the national level Dr. Jabs serves on the International Committee of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the NorthEastern Society of Plastic Surgeons. He holds the prestigious Certificate of Added Qualification in Cosmetic Surgery and has been cited for his volunteer work. He is on staff at Suburban Hospital in Maryland and Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda. He has held academic appointments at the University of Connecticut and at Columbia University in New York.
